Lawn bowls

We are a Bowls Club based in Victoria Recreation Ground (entrance in Park Road).
We play socially on a Monday (2pm to 4pm subject to weather and green) from April to End of September.
We play a number of friendly matches during the outdoor season, and the green is open for practice most days of the week.
or come and visit our community garden.


We welcome you to have a try at bowls.

We welcome anybody to come and try bowls. You will be most welcome.
Training will be given.
You don't need to have any equipment, other than some flat soled trainers and yourself,
Bowls can be provided in the first instance.


Short Mat
We also have Short Mat bowls in the clubhouse from October to April - see separate tab for further details - Short Mat Bowls.   Each Monday afternoon 2-4pm, Wednesday evening 6-7.30pm and Friday Lunchtimes 1.30pm onwards.
